April Class 8 Truck Orders
Preliminary data from ACT Research shows orders dipped 52.1% year-over-year; from 15,850 to 7,600 units. Additionally, they fell 53.9% sequentially when compared to the 16,500 units in March.
They also note that orders have trended below the previous year for about an entire year with few exemptions. Analysts at ACT Research state the uncertainty around pricing, tariffs, lead times, production lines, have played a role in these results.
