Operation Safe Driver Week Has Commenced
This week, CVSA’s annual Operation Safe Driver week takes place (July 13th-19th). During these safety blitz weeks, some drivers choose to stay off the road to avoid potential inspections, which can temporarily impact truckload capacity and drive-up rates.
Across North America, law enforcement will be closely monitoring both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers for risky driving behavior. Those caught engaging in unsafe actions (speeding, driving too close, distracted driving, etc) will be pulled over and issued a citation or warning.
